Last night was a “Friends-giving” hosted by our dear friends Liz & Dan Gullick. We were a bit tired from the snow and showings on the townhouse, but decided we’d chance the roads to head down to have some fun and food with good friends who we haven’t seen nearly often enough lately. We picked up the makings for our favorite green salad on the way and of course, some non-alcoholic cider for me.
Well, we had barely gotten our coats off when Liz and Dan, gleaming, announced that they had news! They’re pregnant! “We have news too, so are we!” I said. So we made the discovery that Liz is expecting and is due only 2 weeks before me in mid-June! We are thrilled to have some pregnancy buddies to travel this journey with us and can’t wait to have someone to share our joys and woes with for the next 9 months and 18 years as our children grow up together. We couldn’t think of greater people to share the journey with - we’re so happy for you guys! :)
